The NO to Racism 2025 Conference

The conference will involve talks from leading anti-racists, Q&A, a talent show, and workshops run by #NO2R subcommittee leaders.

#NO2R commenced on 25 May 2025, and was formed to push-back against the rise in racial harassment at work and in wider society, to educate and empower, and to protect the 500,000 Black workers who are currently suffering racial harassment. It aims to tackle the economic drivers of structural racism in the workplace, education and wider society. We will campaign for change in the Law and we aim to recover the £27 billion owed to Black workers in equal pay. The conference will involve talks from leading anti-racists, Q&A, a talent show, and workshops run by #NO2R subcommittee leaders. It is free to attend but by ticket only. The event will be held in room USG 19/20 in the USS (University Square Stratford) campus of the University of East London.
